to the girls size 22+, where did you go to try on gowns that had sample sizes that you could try on. (Besides David's Bridal)??????

I'm not sure. I don't even know if DB would have a lot in that size. I had to try on a size 14 or 16 in most gowns there, but still better than a bridal 10. I think K;leinfeld now has plus size samples, but I don't know exactly what size they are.

Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills has a bunch of larger size dresses. I was just there and many of the sample sizes seemed to range from 18-22. The lady told me she tries to get bigger sizes because she knows how difficult it can be to find them. Plus they're very nice and helpful there!

I tried on a number of dresses and I am a street size 22.
Some of them obviously didnt zip all the way but with clips and pins, you can get the idea of what it will look like. The dress I picked is a Jasmine and they have all different size zippers so it fits any size! It was great!

Try on Jasmine dresses they have zippers that zip all different sizes in the back it is awesome ! I am small on top my bottom is a problem so i was able to try a lot of corset dresses on with out a problem.

amazing store in NYC called RK Bridal. on 39th Street b etween 8th & 9th Avenue. Huge store with a massive Women's selection and bridesmaids/MOH section as well. look them up. RK Bridal.com

I WILL BE SELLING MY DRESS!!! If any of you girls are interested in my dress let me know. I lost 50 lbs and the dress is too big to alter. Plus I fell in love with a different dress since the shape of my body changed. Its still at the bridal salon. Sz 26 (street size about 24)
The color is blush(its a champage color) and it is VERy slimming. Also has matching veil. Spent $2700. Willing to sell for $1k to $1500.

I'm also wondering what bra undergarments you wore when trying on gown. Do you buy a strapless bra or not. My girlfriend told me 'that's why the gown is fitted so you won't have to wear a bra with the gown...'
Is that true? She SWEARS that the gown will hold my 'buddies' in place..

They will give you a bra...if u have a strapless that you love bring it.
I tried on a size 20 @ kleinfelds. I also tried on lager sizes @ RK Bridal & Davids
