Our nephew is 1 (today) and I wanted to get him a bathing suit as part of his gift...what size should I get? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! I am so clueless when it comes to this stuff!

At 1 yr. he's probably wearing (or close to wearing) 18 months. BUT all kids are different. I'd check with the mom or dad to see what his size is.

I would c heck with the parents cuz all kids are differnet my daughter is 7 months and she is fitting into 12 month clothes so its kinda hard to jusge for yourself

you should be ok w/ 18 months or maybe even 24 months.

I would say 18-24 months. Usually they say you should double the age, but all kids are different.

Thanks everyone!! I went to old navy and bought 18-24 months. The bathing suit is so cute and I bought a little hat to match!!!

Yup I would agree 18-24...
(even though my son is almost 6 months and is 12-18 already!!)

I don't think young kids are ever true to the sizes - my daughter is in 6-9 months sizes and she is only 3 months old, However, my son is finally starting to be closer to his true sizes and he is 4.
