Sizing

I know it's been asked a million times, and maybe I should talk to her myself, but..... what size channa plaque did you get?

I did look up some old posts on this and i saw a lot of 24x6 or 30x6, but what do you go by? the last name size? ours is 8 letters

but our first names are 7 (mine) and 4 (his)......

wait, one more thing... why would it be TALLER (like 30x8 instead of 30x6)?

bc of tails on letters? I have a y in mine....... if we do lowercase anything he has a g and i have a j and a y

oh and there's a j in our last name...........
