Skin Care q: Ladies who use PROACTIVE products

I remember seeing a post on this a while back. I went for a make up trial at Chanel and they were raving about this product.

My question is - what do you use? The whole system? Just the face wash or the lotion? I'm trying to decide what to order.

I use Proactiv everyday. I feel it has really cleared up my skin and my skin is softer.

I use the renewing cleanser 2X a day, the toner 1 day at night and the repairing lotion only when I feel my skin is breaking out.

I also use the moisturizer, I love it. It is not to heavy.

I don't use it anymore, but I do agree that it's great. I used it the same amount as Peabody. The repairing lotion can be drying and you only have to use a tiny tiny bit of it for it to work. I ordered the kit, and I always had a ton of the repairing lotion left over since I hardly ever used it.

Exactly, I have a ton of repairing lotion too!!!

I use it, and I share it with my sister. Between the two of us, we use up all the cleanser, toner and repairing lotion by the time the new box comes. I agree it works very well

if you have too much of one of the products, you can call the company and have them customize your order - I had so many bottles of the repairing lotion, so they started sending me 2 bottles of the cleanser and 1 bottle of toner with each order, without any additional repairing lotion.

and since the stuff works so great and I didn't need as much of it, they now send it to me every 3 months (instead of 2)

That stuff is WONDERFUL!! That is the only thing that ever worked for me as well.

Scott used this also. The repairing lotion bleached our pillow cases. It took a few times to realize what it was. They were our brand new ones too, I wasn't happy. After I read on the bottle that it could case bleaching on fabrics.

this is the only thing that has cleared up my skin. I have found it dries me out alot though (and i have an abnormal paranoia about creating wrinkles by drying out my skin) so I only use it at night, and normal face wash in the AM.

I love it...

I agree Proactiv is awesome but - secret - Clean N Clear Continuous Control cleanser that you can buy at CVS is about $8 and does the same thing. Same ingredients - everything.

I have the toner, used it a couple of times, and didn't for awhile. The color that it was when I got it was greenish and now it's almost clear. I have a new bottle, unopened, and did a comparison, is it bad now? It's not expired but I'm afraid to use it. Should I throw it out and use the new one?
