Skin related advice needed...

Well, Thursday night in my sleep I must have gotten bit by something...spider or something....ON MY CHEEK!!! Well, the bite has gone down in size considerably but it's still red. I ice it and put on hydrocorisone but my e-pics are tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any other suggestions?!

try visine, it might take the redness out. otherwise i would try a sulfur cream

this is gross and wierd and I have never personally done it, but I have heard of people using hemroid cream to reduce puffiness/redness on their faces (I think I saw it on Oprah once).

I'll try anything now...the redness is the worst part...green concealer, foundation and bronzer should cover it...I hope...

damn bugs!!!

hemorrhoid cream would take the swelling down (works great on undereye puffiness) but Visine is what will get rid of the redness

Hydrocortisone might bring the swelling down.

The hemorrhoid cream 'solution' is an urban legend, I'm afraid.

ETA--whoops, just read you used hydrocortisone. Have you tried an antihistamine like Benadryl?

Try Listerine, I use that for my pimples to go down and it works so maybe it will work on a bite, also Caladyrill is good, its for itchiness due to bites etc

LOL ive never heard of that before, but ill keep that in mind for next time. lol

I would give Benadryl a try - bug bites are usually allergic reactions to venom - it might help.

I ALWAYS get bitten by spiders. One time my whole arm got swollen, turned purple, the bit was bigger than a golf ball and im not exaggerating. I ended up getting a fever in a few short hours and my arm got numb...i rushed to the doctor and even he was like OMG what in the world bit you. I had to get a hydrocortisone shot and after that take about 7-10 pills a day for 2 weeks

BUT this happens to me ALOT, i dont know why lol but also guess im very allergic to bites. Benadryl works GREAT!!!! now when i get bad bites like that i take benadryl right away and it helps alot. I also have antibiotic creams.
