What do you all use for skincare. I was using Mary Kay, and recently switched to Dermologica....gotta say....I'm not crazy about either. I need something moisturing, but at the same time I get blackheads in and around my nose. Can anybody recommend anything else to try? I'm trying to get my skin in tip top shape with 16 weeks to go...

Not sure if you want to buy stuff from the pharamacy or a department store.
I work part-time for Estee Lauder in Macy's and based on your concerns I would recommend the Idealist Micro-D to use 1-2x's per week followed by the Idealist Skin Refinisher....as a moisturizer Daywear Plus.
The Idealist Micro-D is like an exfoliator but much more advanced....it goes into your pores and gets rid or all the impurities in the skin...wear as an exfoliator just takes off the dead skin cells (works the epidermis)
Idealist Skin Refinisher is my all time favorite product! (I'm not being a sales girl...just being 100% honest!) It leaves your skin feeling like silk! It leaves your skin poreless.
Daywear Plus is a basic moisturizer with antioxidants. It also has an spf of 15. It actually comes in a few different formulas. There is also a tinted formula that has color so you can wear it as a tinted moisturizer instead of wearing foundation. Daywear plus
Let me know if you have any questions.
The Idealist Micro-D is 46.50 and only comes in one size. The Idealist skin refinsher comes in 3 sizes the smallest is a 1oz and is $46.50, the next size is 1.7 oz and it's $73 and occassionally there is a 2.5 oz value size that sells for $90...and very seldom there is a 3.4oz that sells for $125.

I have been using proactive( the 3 step system). I use the proactive cream at night and Dove lotion( spf 15) during the day,. I use noncomedeogenic nutrogena concealer and the rest of my makeup is from Clinique. I did just get a vitlift chemical peel and am booked for a second one on June12th. I cna give you my dermos info if you are interested just FM me. THe frist one I was a bit skeptical about but ever since my skin as has been clear and smooth, and it took away any redspots and fine lines that I had. They recommed you get like 3 of them a month apart but since my wedding is in July and I waited until the last minute!!!! Anyways, if you want info Fm me! GOOD LUCK!
Isn't Proactive for skin that breaks out?

How long would 1 oz last? A month? Two?

Using it morning and night it should last about 2 months. All you really need is like 2 pumps. they are excellent products! I wouldn't take the time to write about them if they weren't...and I'm am being 100% honest about them...not just because it's the line I work for. I have been working for Lauder for the past 10 yrs so I know how good their products are!
My faves - St. Ives invigorating apricot scrub and moisture surge by clinique. i use almost nothing else. And I have rosacea and after years of using prescriptions, I stopped and just do stuff simply!
