skipping AF by starting over with your pills

I know it is safe to do....but does it freak anyone else out?

I want to move AF up 2 weeks so that any side effects that i have from doing this will not effect me on my wedding day/honeymoon (ie if i just skip AF the week of the weddign then i may be bloated, irritable etc), SO i plan on skipping 2 out of my next 4 (sorry if this is TMI)

but as i said, it just freaks me out a bit...anyone else?

Nah, I am on the pill where you get a period every three months and I love it!!!

i am on the pill that you get 4 times a year too - i always skipped before it came out anyway

I have even had to change mine with sasonal because i realized i would have it at the wedding

Seriously, I would take it all the time - and if there is a way to prevent AF that does not end up with a crying screamer I am in!

I have done it before and it was no problem. I think there was one day of slight spotting and then the next month I had bad cramping but the last time I went to the doctor, we discussed it and he said it was 100% safe.

I think its safe. If you are seriously concerned, just run it by your dr.

I've done it a bunch of times, but I ended up getting my AF a week late, but then the next time i get it on time. Wierd.

I've done it many times with no problem. Love having that option. It makes planning vacations so much easier.

my sister is a DR and she does it all the time and hasd told me many times that it is perfectly safe.

I did it when I was traveling in Africa - I felt really bloated, but just fine.

Why don't you give it a try a few months before the wedding to test it out?

So funny, I was thinking about this today while driving home from work. I've never done it, but I plan on it. I figured I'd talk to my Dr about it to see if she recommends skipping twice before the wedding.

i am actually going to be skipping twice so i will have it (ending) the sat BEFORE the wedding. i ust didnt want to skip DURINIG the wedding, i'd rather just move it up a few weeks

i talked to my dr, they said it is fine. as i said, i have done it in the past and then been freaked out to have sex! that is NOT good for the honeymoon!
