IMO, when you skip a meeting, it is harder to get back on track. My leader emphasizes that it is most important to weigh in when you are trying to avoid it. Whether you feel that you gained or not is not as important as keeping yourself accountable. Sometimes a 'bad week' isn''t as bad as you think. Stick with it and make sure you journal!!!!

I agree a bad week isnt as bad as you think
I thought I bombed this week. Wednesday alone I think I ate all my flexpoints. I had 3 slices of pizza (27 points right there) not to mention many other foods that day.
All week its just been bad foods and late night snacks.
I got on the scale and it said I lost 1 pound.
I was so excited. I really went in thinking I gained so much and I really wasnt in the mood to be weighed and be told sorry you are up.
But it wasnt the case. I lost.
So just because you had a bad week doesnt mean you gained. You may have counteracted the bad with good like water, veggies, fruits, and exercise.
Dont worry. We all have down moments but we have to stick to the good and never give up. If we can do this, we can do anything

With this ring, A slice of pizza is only 6 points, not 9 points.
As for skipping a week, I wouldnt do this. I agree that it is so much harder to get back on track if you skip a week. What I do, to not deprive myself is I take one meal, usually right after weigh in and I eat something really fatty and really not good for me.
This week after weighing in and finding out I lost 4.6lbs I ate a cheeseburger deluxe with onion rings and french fries, ff pudding with ff cool whip, and pretzels. What a piggy...
Sometimes it is ok to give in......but if you want to lose the weight, you will get right back on that horse.....

I find that if I use all of my flexpoints right after a weigh in (I weigh in Sat AM, so i will use all of my flexpoints by Sunday PM) I still see a weight loss. I let myself enjoy myself after a weigh in and have all week to be really good. I am averaging about 1 lb loss per week, but I am not feeling deprived at all and the weight is coming off steadily and consitantly!

I agree, I ate everything that wasn''t nailed down this week and OMG, halloween candy galore and I lost 2 pounds! Don''t skip it because I think it also helps you get back on track if you gained as well.

Re: skipping this weeks weigh in at ww. need motivation help
Two weeks ago, I felt the same way. So I skipped two weeks. When I went back, I had lost 3 pounds. Now I am only 1.5 pounds away from my goal weight (I lost 13 pounds). So I would recommend skipping. That way when you go back you will feel totally reinforced because you will have lost a large amount of weight and not a couple of ounces.
