Saturday is my 31st b-day and DH is taking me sky diving. Has anyone else gone? I have wanted to do it for years, but I am a little nervous.

Re: Sky Diving
I'm a certified sky diver. I finished the course while in college, when I was a bit more of a risk-taker than I am now. (I haven't jumped since, most b/c I can't find anyone willing to join me.)
It is absolutely the most incredible and liberating feeling in the world. I've never met anyone that didn't feel like it changed their perspective on things.
I assume you'll be doing a tandem jump (with an experienced jumpmaster). Those are extremely safe - those guys (and girls) have seen just about everything and know how to deal with it. You'll be fine, and more importantly, you will feel incredible afterwards!
ETA: Happy early birthday!

Re: Sky Diving
MY DH and I did it a few years back, probably the most exciting experience I have ever had. make sure you pay a few extra bucks and get it on video and pictures, they are a memory that you will alwyas have. I cant say I would do it again but it was one of the highlights of my life. Have a blast...
