Skybox- thank you for the post. I know that you are not a bride but you had my best interest at heart when you posted. So thankyou.
I spoke with Dotty, Milestone Music's band owner and leader. It seems that the 2 male singers purposely blew off a showcase because they were mad about something. This just all took place so she did not call her brides yet. Since that is totally irresponsible behavior she decided to find 2 new male singers. I spoke with her at length and they have NOT missed a wedding yet. Truthfully, I am glad that she is not taking a chance keeping some singers who do not respect the fact that a wedding gig is not the time nor place to negoiate a new contract. They will be hosting a showcase with the new singers soon. So I am not panicing anymore. Any other Milestone Music brides should call her to discuss their situation with her personally. I had a very stressful morning! But I feel much better now.
