We booked the band Phoenix, who we saw at a Showcase. they are apart of Skyline Ochestras. Anybody know anything about them?
Just a comment on it - so many photographers these days are claiming to use the 'photojournalistic approach' but aren't really doing that. I have seen people's work where they think that because they put it in black and white and it's not 'posed' that they can pass it off as photojournalistic. I had to laugh at some pics I saw at one of the studios of a bride getting ready at home - in the pic is the hairdresser in her sweat and messy ponytail doing the bride's hair and other pics in the church that were obviously shot from behind the bridemaids (supposed to be like you were standing in the crowd I guess) but in the foreground of the pic are the backs of their necks taking up the bottom 1/3 of the photo. Be sure to look at their work really well since they do charge so much more for this style/addition to your package. True photojournalism pics are really great, I love them myself, but do scrutinize their work - it will pay off in the end.

I have also heard great things so hopefully it was a good choice. We are getting married next June but my FI and I live in Boston so its kinda a long distance thing. Originally i am from W islip.
Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I'm getting married 7/6/01. We are not going with Code Bleu because we only have enough in the budget for a DJ, but my fi is trying to figure out what we can cut out and do without so that we CAN afford them. My fi's sister works for a non profit organization and said that they have used Code Bleu some of the other Skyline bands for different functions. Everyone was pleased. (tomorrows mine and my twin sisters 26th bday!!)
