Slacker Mom??

Is anyone else's mom starting slack on her duties?? My mom was supposed to call a list of people on the 10th since they didn't turn in their RSVP cards. Well she called me today (the 12th) and said she hasn't even started.

On top of that, it is mostly their friends who haven't RSVP'd so I would feel uncomfortable calling them myself since, truthfully, I don't even know most of them.

On top of that, my mom just doesn't have the same 'fire' she had going earlier in wedding planning and NOW is when we need that the most. She is the one that tells everyone what to do and she said we should all just sit back and relax and enjoy the holidays. I really hope she gets fired up again after the holidays or I am going to have to take on a lot more reponsibility in the last few weeks before the wedding.

If this is bothering you... just bring it up to her.

My mom is not involved & I' m just happy she's healthy enough to attend. My father passed away a few years ago and I wish he was here to just be a part of the day.... I mention this (even though I don't like to get too personal on here) just for you to keep in mind how lucky you are to have her there at all to help

aww. sorry to hear that hon. Maybe she is overwhelmed with the holiday. Did she say if she called them soon. You may have to just nag her (hey when do we ever get to nag our moms..lol)

starting to slack!! My mom hasn't been active in this ENTIRE wedding planning process. Be glad that she was in gear and may kick back in during the holidays, I DREAD when it comes times for mom to call our relatives when we don't get our RSVPs (as we undoubtably won't )
