Slapped into reality for a moment...
There is a long time client of ours that also handles our company's bank account. We haven't seen him in over a year because we heard he had cancer. He's fine now, but the damage is clear.
He just walked into my office and I literally had to fight back tears. He does not look the same and he's a young man too (like 50s) and he looks 90. It reminds me of my FFIL last Christmas when he was on chemo. FFIL still doesn't look 100% healthy.
I am severely thankful that my friends, family and myself are healthy and well. I feel like a major jerk for complaining about my wedding the past few weeks.
My heart is absolutely breaking right now.
