Sleep Spinoff

I was just reading the 'what do you wear to bed' thread. And some responses about your DH keeping you warm.

QUESTION: How do you sleep with your DH

1. All cuddles and hugs
2. spoon
3. his is my side....that is yours!

All three!
Cuddles when we are first going to sleep... in the middle of the night we are on our own sides.. then spoon in the morning

when i stay at his house, first its all mushing and the like - then when its really sleepy time, he has his side and i have mine. he knows better then to try to sneak over to my side. he's gotten smacked a time or two trying..

That's pretty much how we are. We usually talk for a bit before we go to sleep and we cuddle, then when we go to sleep, we go to our own sides. I don't mind him sneaking over every once and I while though.

i knew it!!!

We start of with what we call 'chest rest'. I lay in between his armpit and chest. After that we pretty much stick to our 'own' sides.

own side. We used to cuddle more but he's a foot taller and a lot bigger than me ... I always ended up getting punched, squished and pushed off the bed ... now I make him sleep on the otherside. He's only allowed to cuddle before bed or in the morning. I've been karate-chopped across the throat, bear hugged like a pillow and had pillows fly from under my head. No more cuddling!

Before we got the tempurpedic - it was all cuddles... because the old mattress was sagging in the middle and we inevitably both got sucked into the pit!

Now... it's like we are on opposite sides of the room because we also upgraded to a king! That's my only complaint about the mattress -- it's not conducive to cuddling!

I have felt that way in a king bed in hotels.

We are more waht Julz said, if we go to sleep at teh same tiem we cuddle, but then DH kicks out when I trap his legs with mine.

THen we roll over & retire to sepate cronres. Now that we have a qeeen & can actually separate. ahh

In the morning we don't usually get up together, but I usually get back in & cuddle/spoon on the weekends & sometimes for a few minutes during the week if am being lazy!

WE're a combo of all three....we start with spoon/cuddles and then he'll turn his back to me and our butts touch...then I'll turn over and hold him, then we'll do our own thing. then in the morning, we'll spoon/cuddle again...
he had shoulder surgery and can't lay in too many positions comfortably...he'll actually sleep holding a pillow!
BUT he'll spoon/cuddle LONGER if he wants something.

He snores and is CONSTANTLY moving around in the middle of the night...I am a VERY cranky person if i wake up unnecessarily
