I was coming back from lunch and I walked past his desk. His back was to me and he was leaning forward reading (perhaps the urban-hipsters manifesto?) What did I see splayed out on his neck like some stomach-churning badge of creepiness in a fetching shade of scarlet and plum?
A hickey.
Yes, that's right. Slider had a hickey on his neck. Which can only lead me to believe that someone voluntarily gave it to him. The ickiness factor keeps getting jacked up higher and higher knowing that someone willingly allowed him/her/itself to get that close to Slider probably with romantic intentions.

Based on past descriptions, I would guess his experimentations at home have led him to the discovery of leeches......the ONLY possible solution....as NO ONE wants to imagine the spot (I can't call it a hickey, I just can't) was created by another human being.....
