Slightly Disappointed with Hotel

We are using our hotel for 2 nights (night before and night of) and in order to get the group discount we need 10 rooms to be booked ( we blocked 25) but there was no extra discount for us -- we are paying the same rate.
the idea of a fruit basket or something along those lines would be a nice touch but i wouldn't expect it

We looked at about 5-- ended up deciding on the Holiday Inn in Plainview--right off the expressway-- exit 45 or 46 (sunnyside)
we were looking for a nice place with a bar so that after the wedding if people wanted to continue they could as well as a place to do brunch the next day

The rates are kind of high
$129 if 10 or more rooms are booked-- for us it was more the location and I know guests are going to be shocked but what are you gonna do
