Ladies, I need your help. This is my gown. Obviously these are not pictures of ME in the gown lol
I am hoping to achieve the highlighted look in the first chart, maybe even a little poofier, but not as poofy as the last two on the chart, the gown isn't designed to poof at the waist like that.
Question #1 - do you think that look is achievable with my gown?
Question #2- which slip style from the second chart do you think I should use to either get the look i'm going for, or make the gown look as good as possible.

Either the A-line for Extra. It's going to be tough though because the bodice on the dress hits below your waits.. it sits lower on your hips... KWIM?

yea, i was thinking about that... i don't know what to do, i mean, there has to be a slip that would work right? a lot of gowns have the drop waist but can be worn poofy...

Don't go poofier than the highlighted option. And I think the A-line slip would work - even with the dropped waist.

Thank you! Yea, when I started planning i wanted the second to last option and then after looking at my gown a lot more lately, i realized that just wouldn't work. I want a bell shape, but it doesn't have to be that grand.

i have seen slip that have all the crinolin on the bottom. that might work cause it wont be at your hip, but it will still keep the shap of the 'ppof'

by the way - I can totally see why you want it to poof. It's beautiful flat but the slip would just give it that extra something!

i would go for the inbetween one. I had the same issues deciding with mine. I think a hoop skirt may be too much...but a full ballroom should be fine. I tried my dress on with an a-line and it just wasnt as stunning...looked a little droopy imo. SO - i'm voting for full ballroom(i guess on the chart that would be 'extra'???) But i do think the full hoop will be to much considering ur gown as a dropped waist. good luck! here's a photo of my dress with a full slip..maybe it'll help???
okay i'm changing my mind....go with what Taryn said!

A lot of bridal stores should have slips to try on, try going to your store and try on the dress with a slip, the people should be able to tell you which one will help you get the look you want, and you could even be able to see it before you order.

Thankyou for the compliments i loved my dress so much YOUR gown is stunning...absolutely breathtaking. And you will definetly get that look with a full ballroom slip...ur bridal shop should have some in stock for u to try on & see different looks...and remember - the ones in-store always have less poof than a new one because they've been tried on a billion times...and also, if ur bridal consultant is any good, they should 'poof it' while it's on u to get the full effect(ie: reach under & poof the crinolin). Also, congrats on booking with TP! he's awesome & u will be 300% satisfied with ur photos he's fabulous!

go extra full
look in my album - i had the regular a-line. i think that wouldn't be enough for your dress.
