How do you know what kind of slip to get for your dress? I know I can wait until my first fitting and buy one at the salon but I feel like it'll be quadruple the price of other places I can get it at. I'm just having trouble figuring out what to get. My dress is pretty full (there are pics in my album) but I'm also on the short side and not sure how to buy the right one. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

Re: slip question
i didnt wear a slip, and many ppl i know didnt wear it. I would focus more on a good long line bra or some girls wear corsets which i cant do, some wear spanx so depends on what you want.

I like the really full ball-gown look that the slip provides...my one day to be a princess. :)

that is a crinoline that makes the ballgown full and that comes with the dress if you buy ball gown or a-line so PLEASE dont buy it bc there is no point to it. My dress came with 4 layers of crinoline underneath, i didnt have to buy anything separate. When you pay for a ball gown or A-line then you are paying for that look so you dont have to pay extra to give it that look.
Mine was so big i even took out 1 layer of crinoline and it still was big

Re: slip question
OK, that's my confusion. A lot of people have said that but when I tried it on there was no crinolin in it. Is that normal? Is it just because it was the sample? Thanks!

yes it is just bc of the sample. When i tried the sample on it was no where near as full when the dress came in. Infact, here is a pic of the sample i tried on and here is my dress when it came in so you can see what a HUGE difference there is.
first pic is obviously sample, the others are my actual dress when it came in. The back beading was covered with fabric so it doesnt get ruined.
Oh wow...definitely a huge difference. Your dress was beautiful by the way! I love the neckline. Thank you for the info...I think I'll just hold off until my fittings and figure it all out then. Thanks again!

Re: slip question
no problem ladies. Yeah please save your money right now bc most likely your dress will come full. Infact it better come full if you order a ball gown so tell them to add extra crinoline on their own lol.
Good luck and thank you so much for the compliment on the dress
