Slipper Basket: Where do you put it?

So today my mother asked me where I plan to put the slipper basket I've been obsessing over during the reception. Next to the band? Near the ladies' room?

Any suggestions???

We actually put it on a separate table just out side the entrance to our reception room, right beside the seating chart (which we had framed and displayed on an easel to save paper in lieu of placecards).

my friend had put her slipper basket in the 'powder room' - the room right before you walk into the actual bathroom. that way when girls went in to freshen up, they would see the slippers.
