My friend did slipper baskets and she got chinese slippers for under $2 each I think. It was a cute idea and it came out nice, unfortunately that were placed in the back of the room and a lot of people, including myself, didn't even get a pair until we left the party. Keep that in mind.

I was just thinking about the color of the organza bags yesterday and I decided to go w/silver, black and white which aren't my colors but they are neutral colors that will go w/any of the guests outfits at the wedding. So far, pouchmart has the cheapest prices that I've seen.

Im debating on this one. I think it may be a waste of money. But I do think it adds a personal touch. I don't know we will see how money goes at the end. Only because after yesterday WOTY I think I want a dessert bar now.

Re: Slipper Baskets....
This like so many other DIY things were on my list of things I wanted to do. But as it comes closer and closer to the big day I am getting a little less enthusiastic about working on these things. If I do end up doing these it's going to be in the 11th hour.
I still think it's a cute idea and add's a nice touch.
I just got my slippers from them. I actually got platform flip flops because I figured people with long dresses would like that better so they aren't tripping. They were like $1/pair. Thanks for the website for the organza bags.

What color slippers did you go with? I don't know if I should just get black and white or my color theme which is lavender.

I've decided to go with white slippers and Ivory and lavender bags. I just don't know what sizes to order I'm guessing 6, 7, 8. What do you girls think?

I want to do these as well.
I'm wondering if that place will give you an assortment of sizes?

Re: Slipper Baskets....
I think that you may want to try a couple of larger sizes. Atleast a size nine.

I know it's hard to decide because most of the girls in my family are tiny and have tiny feet.

Re: Slipper Baskets....
I just placed an order this afternoon with My sister USA and ordered 100 - mixed between pink and white. I broke it up this way:
I ordered mine from Mysisterusa.com and they were $1 for each pair. They were delivered within 2 weeks of my order! I would definitley recommend them! I ordered: size 6,7,8 - 15 pairs per size size 5 & 9 - 5 pairs per size
