hi ladies, i keep reading about brides having slipper baskets and them being decorated. what are they for i mean i know they are for slippers but what are the slippers for

They're used to hold slippers for your guests to change into during the reception if they're feet start to hurt.

The thing I don't understand about the slipper basket is that people wear all different size shoes. How do you know how many to buy of each size? I think it is a cute idea but it seems like it would get expensive to buy enough of each different size.

Mysisterusa.com sells them in bulk - i got a variety of all different sizes. they're actually really cheap! if u're thinking about it definetly check out the website.

I agree its a cute idea but unnecessary....Weddings are so costly as it is....Save where you can. I could see doing this for a beach wedding so people could walk on the beach during the reception but there's no need in a catering hall!
