Ok, after doing some heavy 'google' searching for chinese slippers for the slipper basket, I found a place!!! And they're in NY! I ordered 60 at $1.50 per slipper... Here's the website if you're interested:) Hillary Chinese Slippers
They're wholesalers--will they sell them to you retail??

Re: Slippers for Slipper Basket!!!
it's saying you have to buy 120 to get the $1.00 price...
were you able to just order 60?

Re: Slippers for Slipper Basket!!!
When I saw their site it did say that you'd have to get 120 pairs, so I called and they asked how many I'd need and I told them only about 60 or 70 and she said I could have them for $1.50 per slipper. I have 140 people coming....~70 women, so I just picked different amounts from size 5-10...more size 7 and 8's....hope this helps!

Re: Slippers for Slipper Basket!!!
Some of you girls should just get together and order the 120 and split them so you can get them for $1 each. That is what me and another LIW bride did and it worked out great. She ordered them and then I met her and picked them up and we split it right down the middle.

Re: Slippers for Slipper Basket!!!
It's a basket you have at the reception hall filed with slippers for all the women to wear when their shoes become uncomfortable...just a little something extra & fun to do!! Do a search on slipper baskets and you'll be able to see some that LIW brides have done.
