Ok girls- how many of you are afraid that the shoes you buy for the wedding will be so uncomfortable after 15 min of wearing them? I am! Are any of you getting slippers for the whole time-or slippers for the reception at least? If so-wouldn't the dress be too long after you put on the slippers if your shoes were even a little high? How are you going about this?

Re: Slippers or no???
I brought a pair of platform flip flops and they felt like heaven after being on my feet for 6 hours. I would definitely bring something to change into.

Re: Slippers or no???
I'm planning on bringing some type of fancy flip flops with me that I can change into if I get uncomfortable. Prob platform ones so I don't lose any height!

I am not going to. My shoes are very comfortable. Whatever you get make sure it is it is as high as your dress. You don't want to be tripping.

Re: Slippers or no???
I saw some white slippers at Love My Shoes on Rt 110 in Huntington that would be cute. They were slip ons & had some beading on them. They were together with slippers of other colors on a table. They were very flat so I'd be concerned about your gown being too long when you took off your heels.

Re: Slippers or no???
I actually bought a satin ballerina type slipper for the reception. I plan on wearing a very small heel anyway, so the slippers are just my way of making sure I am comfortable the whole day.

I want to wear something ..but i need height. My Fiance is 6'5 and i am 5'2! I hate looking so small next to him. So i hope i find a shoe that is high and comfortable

Re: Slippers or no???
I am getting very comfortable shoes and leaving them on all day. I just wouldn't feel like the bride in slippers or flip-flops.

Re: Slippers or no???
i still have to buy my shoes but plan on buying flip flops with a platform. by the middle of the wedding i really done care what is on my feet as long as their comfortable. it is a long day and even the most comfortable shoe will get to you after that long day. make sure you get platform shoes that match your heel size on your shoes- bridal place told me this so your dress wont get ruined from dragging onthe floor.
im trying to find platform shoes online but cant seem to find any. anyone have suggestions?

Go with the slippers, just after pictures!

Re: Slippers or no???
I'm not a big flip flop person, and the slippers will make me too short, so I think i will buy platform sneakers. I want to use ribbon instead of shoe laces and hot glue some beading or something. I dont want to put them on but if I cant take it anymore they will be my back up savior!

Same here (except for the beading). I'm not big on the slipper thing or the flip flop thing. I'm very used wearing heels anyway and I prefer to keep them on.

Re: Slippers or no???
I bought the white satin isotoner slippers just in case my feet needed them. I ended up wearing my shoes the whole day.
