I am debating over whether to wear leather ballet slippers or sneakers during part of my reception, what do you ladies think?

Re: Slippers or Sneakers
I'm wearing satin ballet slippers for the whole thing. I think you should wear whatever is most comfortable.

Re: Slippers or Sneakers
I wore REGULAR sneakers and was sooo happy - I was completely comfortable (and no one would have known if I had not shown them off!!).

Re: Slippers or Sneakers
i like the look of slippers in case someone does see them but what if someone accidentally steps on your feet? sneakers would provide more protection.

Re: Slippers or Sneakers
oo - no sneakers or flip flops. Despite what you may think - people do see them. Your dress moves and you pick it up sometimes. Spend the time and money finding comfy bridal shoes with a low heel If you are still worried - get the ballet slippers but I think you should stick with proper shoes if at all possible

Re: Slippers or Sneakers
Let me clarify - I didn't care if anyone saw my sneakers AT ALL. It's 'me' - I hate shoes and avoid wearing them at all costs. I was not going to subject myself to them on MY DAY!

Re: Slippers or Sneakers
The 1st pic is the sneaker I was thinking of
2nd pic is the leather ballet slippers I'm leaning towards
and the last pic are my actual shoes for the day
I have read the horror stories of other brides that could not walk the day after their wedding and ended up staying in bed most of their honeymoon, althougth the FI would love that, we love sightseeing and exploring and partying all night
I wore satin slippers my entire wedding day & they were wonderful. I had a very full skirt, so no one ever stepped on my feet(my dress, yes, but never my feet) & people did see them at points thru out the day. Personally I always have problems w/ my feet, so I figured better to know I'd be comfortable all day, then worry about being in any pain.
