Did anyone give their DJs a set amount of slow songs to play? If yes, how many?
Any examples? I already know i want At Last & Unchained Melody..plus the 2 parent dances.

We asked for not a lot of slow songs. We had a few suggestions that we wanted to hear but didn't necessarily have to dance to so they played them during dinner. HTH

On this list they wanted 24 song requests. I think we put down 3 or 4 slow out of those. He played most of the ones we requested and then a few others...but they were played mostly during dinner and a little after, while people weren't dancing so much and it got them on the floor before he switched to fast songs. We also said it was ok for him to throw in some elvis and frank sinatra so he added those to our requests. I don't think there was a time when he stopped the fast songs to switch to slow.

well besides our first dance and the 2 parent dances, I am thinking 5 is the max I would go, but definitely have them played early in the evening. The end of the night is for the dance party!
