Small Boxed 'Grooms' Cakes for favors ????

I loved the idea of small boxed 'grooms' cakes for wedding favors. I had called a vendor in NYC (very well known), who did not seem at all thrilled that I was on LI and was the least bit helpful. So here I am again with NYC wants and needs and LI vendors to use. UGH!! Does anyone know of any bakers or bakeries on LI who do these small boxed 'grooms' cakes. The wedding reception will be in Oakdale and I live in St. James. And they should be tasty too!!! Sorry so long!!

Don't know if they do boxed grooms cake, but have you tried Audrey's Bakeries? They do make great tasting cakes!

Check out St Honore Pastry Shop in Port Washington I used them for my shower, grooms, and Wedding cake. I am still getting comments on all of them they were SOOOOOO good. I know they do cookies and things they might do that for you. They are lovely to work with. They supply cakes and pastries for most of North Shore country clubs and a couple of people referred them to me.

I am going to be no help at all but the other night I had flipped to Martha Stewart and she was talking about them.(boxed grooms cakes) I am not sure if you would venture to make them myself -but my FH actually said he liked the idea and since we started planning he has not said that about anything! So let me know where you find a place, thanks!
