2011 bride here ... one of my good friends is getting married in 2012 and we are starting to plan her bridal shower (well just brain storming) perhaps for july-aug of this year, my problem is that her guestlist is only about 15-20 people, and doing it in a home is not an option. Nassau County is pref -- any ideas?
A small restaurant would be ideal for you. Maybe something over in long beach might be nice during those months or even freeport.
this is not Nassau but my shower will be about 20 ppl and were having it at the bonwit inn in comack. They have a few different size rooms.
try Circa in mineola, waterzooi's or novita in garden city....
mine is at waterzooi, we had to guarentee 30.

My engagement party is going to be at Elisa's in North Bellmore. We had my sister's bay shower there, too, and it's great for small parties - there's a back room with a lot of windows and light that maxes out at 40 so small parties like 20 will be no problem.
