For those who had small centerpieces (i.e. cut flowers in a fishbowl type of thing)... about how much was each centerpiece. I'm just trying to see how much is too much when talking to florists (and to figure my budget). You can FM me if you'd like. Thanks a bunch!

Re: Small Centerpiece prices
I went into each florist I visited last spring and told them I wanted the 6'fishbowls for $40-50. All of them were able to do it. I ended up using Burtons and the gave me a total package price. I was very happy with them.

Re: Small Centerpiece prices
I'm having two bubble *fishbowl' vase of just tulips...=$30.00 Each so $60.00 per table, but if you can get away with just one per table that's not a bad price (Try Beckman's in East Northport)

Re: Small Centerpiece prices
My low centerpieces are about $75-$80, I went to a few florists and they were all about the same price. I wanted to use Burtons because they have amazing prices but they said they couldn't travel to my hall, it is too far away I love the florist I ended up with though

Re: Small Centerpiece prices
John at Flower Michele said he could do something really nice in a 6' Bowl for around $ 50.00 each, and i think their flowers are alot nicer than at Burtons.

Re: Small Centerpiece prices
I am getting married in the Westbury Manor too, and since I am not using centerpieces, they are giving me 'their center pieces' which are that bowls with a flower inside plus two candle holders with candles per table ... and it is included in my booking price. We are having a 50 people wedding. Who is your BM? Talk to them to see if they can give it to you
good luck

Re: Small Centerpiece prices
Tracy- you can go to Michaels or any craft store and buy the bowls yourself. Than all you'll have to pay for is the flowers themselves. I bought 10 glass bowls(not fishbowl but kind of like the ones you would put floating candles in) b/c I thought I was going to use them but I have decided not to. They were $4 each! I was in Michaels last week and they had the fish bowls for $3 each! Good luck!
