My day of attire is coming together! I already have my dress and belt- the dress is Maggie Sottero- Marianne in the pale blush pink with ivory lace over it. Then, last week I got my veil from a Bridal Reflections trunk show - it's a plain veil with just satin ribbon lining the edges- in a sherbert colored tulle to match my dress.
And now I got my shoes! They are Kate Spade- they're the perfect color for my dress, glittery, and have a bow; which is all the things I wanted in a shoe! I am planning on getting a pair of flats as well for the reception . I will wear the heels for pictures, ceremony, and cocktail hour. I love them!
Now all I need is jewelry- I only want to wear a pair of dangly earrings, but I want them to match my dress so I need to find a rose gold color.
OH! And our Save the Dates came yesterday! A coworker made the design and then we uploaded them to overnightprints.com - it was crazy cheap!

Edit: I also made a DIY Christmas project! Instead of a scrapbook I took movie stubs, broadway tickets, concert tickets etc from the past years and made christmas ornaments for every year we have been together - from 2007-2013. Then I also bought two engagement ornaments! So excited to finally put them on our own tree next Christmas :)

be careful when you switch into flats! my aunt is a seamstress and said that the dress gets altered to the heels, not the flats... and my friend fell at her own wedding last year because she tripped on her dress :( so if the heels are comfy, try to wear them on the dancefloor!!!

Ah very true - thanks for the tip! I honestly never wanted/ still don't really want to wear heels, but these shoes are so perfect I don't know if I can pass them up!
