Small Vent

So I have my hair trial with *** tomorrow. But since my hair is naturally curly, I wanted it to be straight when I get there.

I walked into Supercuts last minute to have it blown out. They charged me $42!!! I could go to a high end salon and pay less than that.

I dont mean to insult supercuts, but arent they a budget salon???? I was so annoyed when she told me the price and told the girl it was insane...and I am not usually confrontational like that. I will NEVER go there again.

that is a lot for a blow out. always call n ask $ before u get anything done!.. i ccant believe they charged u that much

It totally is. I usually pay $20-$25 depending on where I go. I know it can be higher at some expensive places...and I have paid up to $75 on vacations. But $42 at supercuts!!!? I wanted to punch the girl in the face. LOL

I understand completely!!!!! I think Supercuts is a ripoff! They advertise as a discount place, but they have all 'hidden fees'...I went to get a haircut there and they charged me extra for long hair and conditioner and moisturizer and hair cream...I was like, 'I didn't ask for any of this stuff!!!' And, on top of it all, my hair was flat and greasy. You get higher quality for the same price (or less) at a high end salon!

P.S. I went to Lemon Tree and they're worse!

And that's the best part...my hair looks like crap. And when I told the girl that I could go to a high end salon and pay less...she told me supercuts is better than a high end salon. She said the high end salon stylists dont get trained. LOL. I just looked at her and walked out.

I have to defend Lemon Tree...my friend works there and she always does an amazing job. And it only costs me $10! I guess it depends on who yougo to : )
