Re: small wedding
I am not sure. The was a thread on here awhile back about halls that were under a 100 dollars a head. The only problem is some halls have a minimum of guest that is ussually at 100 people.

I have a 75 person minium. Some people don't like that the CH is outdoors, or in the dining room, if its cold or raining, but it works for us.

I remember that the Swan CLub had a smaller room for small parties.

Re: small wedding
If I were to only be blessed with 75-85 ppl at my wedding I would do something different--like have it at a bed and breakfast and use their grounds or go upstate. There is a place in the Catskills that you can rent out the whole place for the weekend; I've seen it on wedding location websites.
We also looked into the Gansett Green Manor in Amagansett. He has a series of cottages scattered along his grounds, sculptures on the property, a coy pond, an outdoor grill and big table and a HUGE lawn for a tented party. www.gansettgreenmanor.com
The owner's name is Gary. He quite an eclectic gentleman with vision. We had too many people to make the trip out there feasible.
