I was supposed to have about 150 at my wedding by I got more nos than expected. It looks like I will only have about 115-120 at the wedding. I am a little disappointed that there will be fewer people than expected and that the ballroom will look empty. FH told me not to worry about it. What do you think about a small wedding? Do you think it will seem empty or I am just being paranoid?

where are u having the reception? dont worry about it bc the ppl who love you the most will be there..you are beginning your life with ur fh and thats all that matters

We had 109, and we invited over 180. At first I was disappointed, but it was so nice! Everyone fit in the room perfectly and we were able to go to each person during the reception and spend time with them. I don't know how we would have done that if we had more people. But our room was meant for smaller parties, so it worked out well. How many does your room hold maximum?

Maybe the reception hall can do things like move the ball inside the room? Or set up extra tables on the side for your favors and such. That way it makes the room look bigger.
I know having a 10 piece band also does the trick since they take so much room. hehe!

In some cases bigger isnt ALWAYS better Its going to be perfectly fine. My good friend just had a wedding of 100 people at flowerfields..even though they had a minimum she didnt care! It worked out perfectly!

I think that your smaller wedding will be nice. It will be warmer and more intimate. You will be able to enjoy the people who came to celebrate your big day. I don't think it will look empty just put some more space between tables.
