small wedding

I would like to have a small wedding (about 50 people) in a casual but elegant style. I have in mind a fancy rehearsal dinner type wedding. I would prefer to have it in eastern suffolk county. Any suggestions?

Re: small wedding

Try Casa Rustica in Smithtown. It is on Main Street. The food is out of this world and the place is beautiful.

Re: small wedding

It sounds like the Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip would be perfect. They have a few different rooms for you to choose from and the food is Excellent.

LaGrange in Islip (or west islip)? My aunt was married there..same as you about 50 people. Very classy, fabulous food.

Re: small wedding

Three Village Inn in Stony Brook
Danfords in Port Jefferson

Also maybe some of the really pretty bed and breakfasts in the area would be able to accomodate you.
There's a really neat place in Kings Park that does small weddings. I think it's called Casa Rosa. I 'll try to find the info.

Re: small wedding

Sorry it's called Villa Rosa and they have a web page from SUNY Stony Brooks off campus housing. They used to do small weddings but it looked so neat to me from the pictures and what my mom told me about it.
