I'm looking for ideas for a venue for a wedding of about 60 people - prefer not to do a traditional catering hall. would love a pretty little inn or bed and breakfast (but not all the way out in eastern suffolk)-- or a nice restaurant. We'd also need a place for both ceremony and reception. Thanks for any help!

I know you said you didnt want a traditional catering hall, but you might want to check out Westbury Manor anyway. I had 65 people and we had the upstairs Hill Room which was perfect for us. They also have, i think it is called the Executive Room which we had our cocktail hour in, and I think they will let you have smaller parties in there too.
Westbury Manor is gorgeous, the food is excellent and the price is reasonable..highly recommend.

Old Field Club is not your typical catering hall and they might be flexible with minimums if you aren't doing it during a prime time. Their Sunday minimum was 100 for us but during prime time. It's so beautiful, intimate and quaint location on the water with really good food! You're the only wedding all day! FM me if you want more info!

I really like the Snapper Inn and know someone who got married there and they said it was wonderful. Right on the water in Oakdale, perfect for smaller parties.
