We had the same situation. A lot of places require more than 50 guests. But we got lucky with the Snapper Inn, in Oakdale. They generally require 80, but see what you can do. Thewy have an outdoor tent and also a inside hall. We had 50 people in the outdoor tent and got married outside by the arch, right in front of the water, on May 27th. It was great. Check it out. Do yourself a favor and call the places before you go, just to see if they allow a minimum of 50.

Hi! Do I have to have a cake topper? Can't I just have the cake decoreted with flower? I don't really like the cake tops I have seen, and I'v seen a lot of them.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Every where I call has a 100 or more minumum. We do need to have it on a Saturday (afternoon preferrably) because we have family who will need to drive in from 4 hours away).

Michael's Mansion is a restaurant in West Sayville that has weddings for $65pp and has a place for an outdoor ceremony.

Anyone heard of Lavendar Bridal Studio on Broadway in Massapequa??

Just a tip: Before you go look at places, make a guest list. We planned to have a small wedding, no more than 50ppl but ended up with closer to 100 after we made a guest list.

There's a place in Lake Ronkonkoma, I'm drawing a blank to the name of it (maybe windows on the lake?, is that a real place). If it is, they have a sister company and it's smaller, and it's by the water.

Also check out three village inn, at stony brook and country house inn. Oh, but these are at least $100pp. But if you like it you may want to spend the extra.

The carriage house at Milleridge

has a 75 person minimum and has 3 different menus to choose from. If you are married April - Oct, you can have your cocktail our outdoors...

We had our wedding there this past March. Sat night, 2 star menu for $72.90 pp. Saturday afternoon would have been much less.

Many people don't know about the Carriage House...only the Cottege (which is beautiful, but big and bigger minimums).
