Small world (kinda long!)
Last week, fh and i went to the church by my house just to look at it to see if we wanted to get married there- since St. John's University doesnt look like it will work out.
The church was locked, but this very nice priest came over to us asked if he could help us and ended up showing us the church and explaining everything- he was really nice & funny also!
So he suggested that we come to mass that weekend- FH and I really liked him and thought he was perfect for our ceremony- exactly what we wanted.
so on Saturday night, FH, my mom and my grandma and I went to mass- and the same priest was saying the mass.
We usually sit in the first row at mass because my grandma is handicapped- so the priest brought over communion and said hello to my FH and I-- and then he kisses my grandma hello-- apparently they worked together about 15 years ago- and he remembered her right away!
so now fh & i are over the moon- it seems that we were definately meant to get married at that church and by that priest- cross your fingers- i have to call this morning to see if our date is open there!
