Smaller wedding ideas

Smaller wedding ideas

We need a venue that will have our vow renewal ceremony and accommodate a smaller wedding. Anywhere from 50 to 125. We are also definitely on a budget, so we need good value for money. I would like to realistically keep the cost down to 20k and under. I somewhat fell in love with looking at Chateau La Mer online, and I was told on here that they didn't do smaller weddings. I was told via email that their low minimum is 75, but I know I need to be look at more than one venue, I just have no clue where to start. I won't be on LI again until the xmas period, but I would like a good idea of what we can afford and would work by then so I can go look at them. Does anyone have any recommendations or ideas? Thank you!!!

Many of the Lessings facilities would be able to accomodate a wedding of that size. West Sayville Country Club, Timber Point, Smithtown Landing, Tall Grass Country Club and the Riverview should fall within your budget.

Also try the Irish Coffee Pub.

We are going to The Riviera....we had to guarantee 110. Depending on the time of year they may be flexible. It is also waterfont like The Chateau. Just an fyi.
Good Luck

Most of the places can accomodate as low as 100. When you are lower than that is where you get rejected for being too small. So it would help to know if it's really 50 to say 80 size.
I lookes for plaves that would take 60. They usually had a secondary smaller room to do this. Here are some:
we decided o n Larkfield Manor in E. Northport. reasonable and the staff is wonderful and the place beautiful.
Others with smaller rooms:
Geo Washington Manor
Westbury Manor puts you upstairs.
Harbor Club in Huntington also upstairs.
Capt Bill's catering room in back or restaurant.
2006 booking prices for Sunday in Sep 2007 was around $75 + tax+tip.

I'm having a wedding with 50 people and we are on a really tight budget. We are having our wedding at Leonard's of Great Neck. We got the best price from them and we're getting a lot for our money. Check my album for pics

I also looked at

Milleridge Inn Carriage House
The Metropolitan Club*
The Swan Club
Westbury Manor *
Larkfield Manor*
Coral House George Washington Manor
The Inn at New Hyde Park
Caffe on the Green
Manor East

I seen more but I can't remember...If I think of another one I'll post Good Luck!

You should do a search for small weddings on here. You will get a lot of results.

I would suggest the Coral House, Milleridge Inn (they have some small rooms that would be good for what you are looking for) and the Swan Club. You may want to try posting on the Vendors Helping Brides section.

Sans Souci - we just had our wedding there and it was AMAZING. our headcount was 125, which fit perfectly, and they can definitely do less then that. (max is 180 which would be tight). Prices are reasonable depending what day you do it - minimum was 100 people, but I'm sure they'd work with you.

The Winter Garden Pavillion at Fox Hollow is absolutely breathtaking...i WISH we could've had our wedding there but our guestlist was way to huge. The room officially maxes out at 150 so your number sounds perfect...they have GREAT prices too... here's a link to photo of it...i think its insanely beautiful.
