Smallville season finale

Did anyone watch it? Im kinda upset that they strung me along all season with what could have been a great story about Lana, but they killed it. What the hell is up with that? Why all of a sudden did Lex turn to such ahole? INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW!!!!!

My DH is a HUGE Superman fan and we have been watching Smallville for a while together. We have been saying that this season had very bizarre stories. I got him Seasons 1-3 on DVD and we were noticing that the shows were much better in the other seasons, esp. 1 & 2. If you watch a bunch of them in a row, however, you do notice that Lex has been sort of sneaky and creepy all along, but he did sort of wig out last night. I think this is probably supposed to be the turning point for him, where he becomes evil.

What did you think the big black thing was? DH thinks it is a Kryptonian spaceship. (yes, we are geeks for everyone else reading )

Its definitely a kryptonian spaceship, but Im dying to know what or who is in it!!!
I kept yelling at clark that he had to be a big boy now, put his big boy tighties on and fly out of the snow to go save his mom and dad. I cant think of his name, but Lana's boyfriend (Genevieve's son) - what the heck happened to him?
My only peeve is they had a good storyline with Lana/witch and they totally disappointed me with it. Once she poked Gen with the stone the tattoo disappeared. You mean to tell me that's it?

I loved Lana kicking butt in China, but I didn't think they fit the other parts of that story in too well and I never really liked Jason all that much either. Who knew Jane Seymour could be so evil?

I am certain that the crystal has something to do with the fortress of solitude. I mean realistically, I dont see him building it!

The whole lana thing has me confused. I really thought they were going to make her a temporary enemy of clark this season (guess not). But they didnt expand on the storyline and it just flopped. I can just hope next season will be better
On a side note, I love the fact that cloe knows his secret and is a good friend that she protected him against lex.

In last week's episode, Genevieve and Jason kidnapped Lionel and Lex and had them up in some cabin in the woods, torturing them to get the stone back that Lionel had taken from Gen. If you remember, Lionel poisoned her and told her he would give her the antidote for the stone. So they were torturing Lex with a hot poker to get Lionel to tell them where that stone was. He said Lana had it, but I think the one she had, she brought back herself from China, or Jason hid it outside of her apt. I am a bit fuzzy on that part. Lionel had his stone all along and sent them to Lana to trick them, or to get them to find the 3rd stone.

So, Lex and Lionel get out of their bondage, escape and Jason follows them with a gun. Lex and Jason end up at the top of a cliff and Lionel ended up pushing him off. So, I guess that is why he was all bloody - at the end of that episode we thought he was dead, but I guess he survived the fall. Why he came after Clark instead of going to Lana, I am not so sure about, I think they left some explaining out there.

I also love that Chloe knows, it makes it more interesting. Lois is starting to drive me nuts though.

That's right!!! Your good at remembering things. I remember telling FH that Jason wasnt dead!! Then I completely forgot everything!!

Me too. I came late to Smallville, so I am catching up with the DVDs and haven't gotten to the part where Pete leaves. I am hoping that Chloe will tell Clark she knows his secret next season, so he has someone else to confide in.

I miss pete too!
