Yea, I called them about a month ago and got the same answer, I was bummed.... Check out www.whiteaisle.com and Pippy Sweets, because they have nice things too

From what I heard, they're like 5 bucks a piece and they're realllly great quality. I'm deciding between them and whiteaisle right now!

They are doing my invites and I know they are overloaded with work. They had told me at first that they weren't taking on anymore clients, but after I expressed how bummed out I was they said that they would be able to create my invitations if I'm willing to assemble them. If you assemble them yourself you receive 35% off!
I said HELL YEAH! This is our DIY! I haven't gotten my sample designs yet, they create 4 for you to choose from after you pay a $30 fee, but I have plenty of time.

I doubt they will. She said that she is overbooked.
Assemble yourself? I would be afraid that I would fold it wrong.
Maybe I could. All well, I am not going to beg a company who doesn't have the manpower to handle a simple order.
They are losing business!

wow date twin! The same thing happened to me. The cut off date was something like 2 weeks before our wedding so I begged her to accept my order. I'm also still waiting on my 4 samples.
Regal, I agree with the other brides. Try pippy's or whiteaisle.

wow!! we are using Smashing Cards too -- but I guess I had contacted her in January. and we were supposed to have our design originally in mid February then I got an e-mail have overloaded they were and to expect it this week or next week. I can't wait to get our designs. We are also assembling them ourselves to save the 35%.
somewhere on her webiste it says that they are holding on new clients -- but I sould just e-mail Ashley -- she's been really great through e-mail
