The dance floor will not be an issue, it is def big enough. Are you inviting 200? Everyone told me before my wedding that 15% wouldn't come and they were right. We invited about 150 and got like 118. If you are having 200 people there it might be crowded seating/table wise. I personally loved Smithtown Landing and would recommend it to anyone. If Rich tells you he can fit 200, then he can (he's the best) but maybe give Timberpoint a look. Its also Lessings so they are probably just as good and I know they are bigger. Feel free to FM me if you have any other SLCC questions

I just love Smithtown Landing (obviously since I'm booked there lol ) and I don't think having a packed dance floor is bad anyway, usually it makes for fun party. Now a huge dance floor that makes it look empty? That I think kills the mood lol. I agree with above as well!

I went to the showcase about three weeks ago and I thought the same!!!!!! Ahhh FH thought I was nuts because the first time we went I absolutely loved the room, and specifically I loved that we have the option to pick round or oval tables.
BTW ladies... have any of you felt there could be a potential lack of photo-ops there???
Did anyone else attend the showcase?

Unfortunately there's no access to the river but we took photos at the gazebo, on the green and in the back area by the pool there is a small pond with a fountain. We also took a few goofy ones of my husband hitting some golf balls and me driving the golf cart. Inside the building where the office is we took a bunch on the stairs and some on the outside where the deck over looks the trees. I thought it was plenty of photo ops! Remember, the focus of your pics is you two, not the view behind you

I have to admit something terrible. I absolutely HATE HATE HATE with a passion --WHITE GAZEBO's. LOL i dont know what it is but I hate when wedding venues or people in general site that as a particular amenity. But the rest of the place I loved....especially the drive up and the three different spaces...AND did tyou girls see the Bridal suite!!?!? One of the best and biggest I have seen!!! Seriously!

you're right. thank you for the reminder:) and I love the idea of him hitting golf balls and you in the cart....very cute. Its odd there is no access to the river but they claim its a 'waterfront venue'??? Thanks for the tip on the pond I had no idea it was there!
