Ok ladies I need help. I got a really good price on Smithtown Landing Country Club and have heard mixed reviews. Some people say the ch room is small and I heard the food was terrible from another but I have also heard good things. I live in Florida an dhave never been thereso if anyone has and can give me a review it would be great.

Did you think the room the ch is in is small? Is there more then one reception room? I have heard a few different things.

we saw smithtown landing, never been to a wedding there
the ballroom is very pretty the BM was very nice and seemed like he would go above & beyond for the wedding, on our first meeting he was willing to get us certain types of alcohol, white castle for our farewell table, etc.
two things I didn't like about smithtown landing...
there are two different rooms for CH & Reception...in two different buildings, so guests would have to walk outside between the two parties to get to one place from the other
and I didn't feel like there were enough photo ops there either
just my opinion...
the price was great tho!

there are two CH options...
one of them the indoor room is decent sized.
the other the room is small but the outdoor area is tented so it makes up for it

Two different buildings? Are they right next to eachother? I heard there aren't too many picture ops but on the website the grounds look really nice so I don't know.

SLCC was my second choice. Donna is amazing and will help make your experience wonderful. they will treat you like a princess all day. We decided to go some place closer to home but I would totally recommend it. We did a food tasting, and while it was not out of this world, it was great quality food. So your guests will be well-fed.

Look at my review! I LOVED everythign there. The food is AMAZING (go for a tasting!) - they have a new chef. And if you see my review, you'll see there are A TON of places to take pics.

I am getting married there in June. I am expecting about 190-200 and was also a little worried about the size but many of the places I have seen had the same size for a ceremony space.
I did like that it was tented b/c I don't want to have anxiety about the rain.
I am expecting 190-200. I think it will be a tight fit in the RH room but we are able to add so many personal touches that it makes it worth it.
