I'm trying to plan a wedding by the first or second week of this June and have a serious budget! I'm having about 45-50 people. Anyone have any experiences with any of these or know how the pricing is? I know the Metropolitan has a 60 person minimum but that's fine as long as the price is right :)

Smithtown Landing is so accomodating so if you talk to Rich he will definately help you...Metropolitian is on a main road but if you like the look it is nice, no outdoor area really though and if you are outside it is kind of noisy...Danfords is beautiful and for that amount of people the room is fine...

Smithtown Landing! You will love it and Rich is the BEST!!! So nice and so willing to accommodate you in any way. They are having some great prices now too, wish we could have gotten in on them! Def go check it out!!

Thanks ! I haven an appointment at the Metropolitan on Wednesday - and I'm going to make one with Rich for Smithtown Landing too. I heard good things about him - have you ever seen the room there? Is it nice? It doens't like great n the website..

The main ballroom at SLCC is very pretty. As soon as you walk up to the front entrance you see the gorgeous chandeliers, thats what sold me.

The only thing about Smithtown Landing that you need to know is that the three parts of the wedding all take place or could take place in 3 different buildings..so you and your guests will have to walk outside.

A few years ago the Metropolitan had many hidden costs...you have to pay extra for chair covers, valet guys, filet mignon etc. I don't know if things have changed.

I'm not too familiar with those, but I'm staying at Danford's before & after my wedding. I looked into a wedding brunch with them and their prices were good for something like that. The area is beautiful!
