Please tell me what your 'typical' snack is. I am usually hungry around 4:00 and eat dinner around 5:30/6.. Im looking for healthy snacks rather than the chips and cookies. TIA

This might sound weird but I love Thai tofu...you can buy it in King kullen and it is already seasoned and ready to go....find that it gives me that spicy kick that I need....there are lots of other flavors too.....that is if you like tofu..

Re: Snacks
I found this great nut mix that I use as a pre-dinner snack. It's a mix of almonds, raisins, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds - really healthy and it's about 150 calories for one serving. The fat content is pretty high but it's all poly and mono 'good fats' - no saturated. Anyway, I bought it at the grocery store in the nut section - it's actually called 'diet mix' but I think it's really more 'healthy' than diet. There's no added preservatives or oils other than a touch of peanut oil.

Re: Snacks
If I'm in a carb mood, I'll have wheat thins. I think it is 3 ww points for 16, but usually 8 is enough. And I usually dip it in one wedge of laughing cow semi-soft cheese (light), which is 1 ww point. So 2.5 points for a snack isn't bad.

Re: Snacks
I'll usually eat an apple and a low-fat string cheese. It is filling enough to hold me over until dinner. I also will make fruit smoothies and bring them to work with me.

Re: Snacks
Balance bars, baby carrots or broccoli with hummus, peanuts, a fruit yogurt smoothie, cottage cheese. Most of my daily eating is snacky. The only meal I prepare is dinner.

GREAT summer treat!!!
I also love Sugar free jello with fruit and sugar free & fat free Jello pudding for 2 pts.

Re: Snacks
I bring in pickles to snack on at work (0 points). Also low-fat Triscuits and low-fat graham crackers. Each are 2 points per serving.
I found some fat-free biscotti -- 4 pieces are 2 points and they are big! I found them in Pathmark, the brand name is Luna Rossa and they are $3.99. It's in the 'diet' section in the bakery area.
