Thats somewhat what I was originally doingbut I think now I am going to use the caps I have lying around the house! lol

and maybe use star fish or shells as the holder on top??

OMG! I can't believe you saved over 300 snapple caps!
What will be cute is everyone will want to read the inside part to see their snapple fact! ha ha ha!
I like the first pic... where you use the snapple cap as the bottom (stand) part.

you can use the snapple cap as the 'stand' and glue the place card on top of the cap .. then on the place card write 'mr and mrs so and so' and under their names right a snappe fact

maybe if you get small enough shells/starfish ( i saw them in AC MOORE) it would work with the snapple caps. i think the only issue would be they might topple over if the top is too heavy. i would totally go out and buy a snapple right now and go to the store and try it for you! but i will control myself. I LOVE PROJECTS!

maybe you could use popsicle sticks, and paint them blue and white? or make them look like like the chairs for your card box?

take a candle or something for the base stick a stick in the candle glue the snapple cap to the top of the stick and then glue the card to the back of the cap
