snooki...engaged?

Is Nicole (Snooki) Polizzi trading in her fist-pumping party nights out for a walk down the aisle?

The 'Jersey Shore' star's relationship with 'gorilla juicehead' Jeff Miranda may be just more than two weeks old, but that isn't stopping the former Iraq War veteran from popping the question.

Appearing on the Sept. 10 issue of Steppin' Out, obtained by RadarOnline.com, a shirtless Miranda poses on bended knee wearing only fatigue pants and a hat, along with the words 'Will You Marry Me?' printed across the magazine's cover.

'I want us to be together forever. I could see us having children. I want to pop the question to her,' Miranda, 24, tells the mag. 'If we got married we would be the best parents around. She's so loving and puts everyone else before herself. She'll be a great mother.'

Though the bold move is sure to take the 22-year-old reality star by surprise, Miranda says he isn't worried about being rejected.

'Once she deals with the shock I think they'll say yes. I really do,' he says. 'In fact, I know she'll say yes.'

Surprisingly, the self-proclaimed 'guidette' has remained quiet about her new romance, which began after the pair met Aug. 13 at club Karma, a Seaside Heights, N.J., nightspot often frequented by the cast of the MTV reality show.

However that hasn't stopped Miranda, who claims he's not dating her for fame, from repeatedly talking to multiple outlets about his new pint-sized love interest.

It is also important to note that the pair has not been spotted together since their first weekend spent in Seaside, where fans and eager paparazzi watched as they put on a PDA-filled show while enjoying the rides and walking along the boardwalk.

'I love her and want to be with her,' gushes Miranda. 'I will never break her heart. She's such a great girl.'

'If people could see us together they would think we're a match made in heaven,' he adds, acknowledging that MTV big wigs won't be too pleased with his attempt to tie-down their most marketable hard-partying cast member.

'I just want to be with Nicole and make her happy,' he says. 'I can make her the happiest girl in the world. I have very strong feelings for her.'

Snooki, who is currently filming the third season of 'Jersey Shore' in Seaside Heights, has yet to comment on the public proposal.

he's used up about 13 of his 15 minutes of fame... he's really pushing to get 20 minutes.

w/e if its true then congrats to them... but honestly, 2½ weeks... i think its pathetic.

why is marriage such a joke to some people? explore your relationship, if you love someone after 2½ weeks, imagine how much more in love you'll be after, lets say... 3 years!

This is why I don't watch this show. I don't want to feed this ridiculous BS.

Ilana, I had refused to watch the show last season... but I started catching re-runs and getting caught up in it.
I think the show is funny (obviously most of it is scripted) its like the real world... just hyped up and they don't seem to care when the cast members hit each other.

I just don't like ALL the publicity around it. there are so many other shows that are just as pathetically comical and they don't make it to the daily news.. or have sayings on t-shirts.

I also didn't watch the show last season but I caught a few re-runs randomly one day when I was bored and nothing else was on.. and now I literally look forward to Thursday nights when the show is on because I'm HOOKED lol. Not because the show is good, but because the show is so STUPID! I laugh at how dumb it is and the retarded things that these people say lol.
