I'm super-excited for the snow. Although I wish it would come on Friday instead so FI and I could spend 3 uninterrupted days together!!!!! Snow tomorrow is only going to cause a traffice nightmare

Figures....I don't have to be to work until one. The roads will probably be clear by then and I'll have to schlep in! Oh Well!

Here is a clip from the Wheather Alert on The Weather Bug.......

The National Weather Service Has Issued A Winter Storm Watch For Late Tonight And Wednesday...

Snow Will Overspread The New York Metro Area Late This Evening And Long Island After Midnight. Some Rain May Mix In At The Start. The Snow Should Become Steadier And Heavier As Sunrise Approaches. The Snow Should Taper Off During The Afternoon In The New York Metro Area And By Late In The Day Across Long Island. Snowfall Is Expected To Accumulate Up To 6 Inches By The Time It Ends.

The Timing Of This Snowfall Will Have A Significant Impact On Travel Plans Leading Into The Thanksgiving Holiday. Travelers Need To Plan Ahead And Use Caution... Especially Since This Will Be The First Accumulating Snow Event Of The Winter Season.

Winter Storm Watch Is Issued When There Is A Potential For Significant Snow Accumulations. Future Driving And Walking Conditions May Become Hazardous, So It Is Important To Monitor The Latest Forecasts.

Re: SNOW!!

I can't wait to move to Florida in January. I hope this is the only snow storm till then.

Give me 80 degrees over snow any day.

The only thing is my FH wont be with me, so I can't throw snowballs at him.

I love the snow, but knowing that tommorow is the 'biggest party night of the year' is kinda scary knowing a lot of possible car accidents might happen.

Re: SNOW!!

Good point DaniRN!

BUT..... as for us teachers....

LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!

Sorry for everyone else! I would love to be snowed in for a day. Sorry if this sounds selfish.
