Snow..

I cant believe were supposed to get 18 inches of snow tuesday into wedesday...we were supposed to go look at djs!! ! hopefully it changes

I dont see it happening. We got nothing Friday. I have dj appts, but I hope it snows, because I want to get off work Wed!! The city schools never have snow days, but we had one last year, and I really could use one Wed!!

thats the only thing im looking forward to..if it snows that bad the bank I work for will close and even though its monday i can really use a day off already haha...

They're saying they're more sure this time because there's an extra Low pressure system and they're both pushing together, so they're a lot more confident this time we're going to get something.

Which is fine with me this time because I don't have fun plans, just classes... and actually, one class is canceled already so I would have had to go in for just one class and that's annoying so I'm hoping we have a snow day! WOO HOO!

See, regardless if it snows or not, I'll have to go to work that day. Im fairly new at my job but people have said that my company NEVER closes for snow!

Yea we normally dont close either but i live like 30 mins away from my job and last time we got blasted with snow...I was coming home and saw 3 accidents right infront of me...i was almost involved in one...so after I told them that...they said maybe if it snows like that again...well consider closing....(((Fingers Crossed)))

I usually hate the snow. If it snows on Wed I will still have to go to work but hopefully my evening classes would be cancelled. That would be amazing!

ugh I know, this winter has been sooo bad!!!! We got a lotttaaaa snow here in Philly on Saturday and we're gonna get more Tues/Wed...luckily getting to work is really convenient, so doesn't really bother me

we never close either.... no snow day for me.. but I am trying to get all, my work done today and tomorrwo so if it is that bad out I can just stay home. I travel and hour each way to work on a good day, so snow turns that hour into three and a half each way normally UGH! ANDDD.. I have a DJ appt that night @ 630! GRRR

Well I've been doing the snow dance since last night!! I'm a teacher in Brooklyn, and NYC schools never close for a snow day, but I'm hoping this time they do... just once!!

haha! i had no idea we were getting snow until i just read this post...so, LIW is my one stop shop for wedding stuff and weather now lol

thanks for the info!!
i have a videographer appointment tonight, but that's it all week, so i wouldn't be too upset if it snowed...as long as i get the day off from work!!!

I am so hoping they are wrong about this one just like the weekend.

I have the worst roots and finally am able to make it to get my hair done.. I work in NHP and the salons in Port Jeff so it's like an hour commute to get there for 5pm... ugh to make matters worse my engagement party is this Saturday so this appointment is a must!

Is there a no snow dance I can do???

I hope the snow isn't that bad!!

My job never closes; but we have a 'get here when you get here' attitude. So even though i'm supposed to be here at 8:30 if i walk in at 9 or 10 they'll just be glad i made it in; and i won't be expected to stay the entire day-if it's bad; i'm definetely leaving early!
