SNOW DAY!

Snowed in again in DC...how's everyone up north? You get a lot of snow too? Are things closed or open?

The pathetic part is that I have my allergy shots this morning...but my car is blocked into the driveway and they haven't cleared our lot yet, so I get to trudge all the way to the doctor's...yippee!

I wish I had a snow day, but since I am an accountant, there is so such thing, for the next 3 months!!!

so far we have gotten more than 2 inches and it is still falling! And the flakes are big and dense I do love snow, but it is very incovinient to go anywhere and I do have to go out!

snowing and doesnt look like its stopping.

a lot of the schools are closed today.

i am at work

its me and now about 7 other ppl. one guy wore jeans and a sweater and brought his suit into the office.

its really quiet in my office too. i am hoping to be leaving early

GRRRR--It's my day off and I had a ton of things to do!! O well-it's a good cleaning day!! LOL maybe I can actually find a spot for all our engagement gifts!! LOL BE SAFE EVERYONE!

Hi, Alison! I had a snow morning (waited until they cleared the parking lot). It's bummer, though. My parents were supposed to drive down from LI to talk about planning and have my first dress appointment. They've cancelled because of the snow...

I am snowed in here in Bethesda & working from home.

Sorry to hear your parents cancelled their trip, Laura. My sister is taking the train down here today so we can do local wedding stuff.

BTW- I went to My glass slipper last weekend. So many great shoes even if the people that work there are a bit snooty!

I miss snow days. I live in San Diego now and this is my first winter away from NY!!!!! I miss snow but I did get to go swimming last weekend

FH is headed out your way for a conference in a few weeks...I wish I could go too!

Jenny...where is My Glass Slipper again? Are their prices reasonable?

Laura...I was slated to be at work/school today until 9 pm for a panel discussion! So I'm kinda relieved...one of the nice things about working in education, I suppose. But I am really sorry to hear your parents had to cancel their trip. Bummer.
