my firm just sent around an e-mail saying that they're monitoring the storm and to call the emergency number in the morning. as of now though, they're open for regular business

luckily I get to call it! I sent out the email that basically said use your own judgment. and that if you do take the day off, it wouldn't be taken as a vacation or sick.

I brought work home just in case it is too bad outside to go to work. We're planning to be closed tomorrow anyway.
