I only wish it started snowing tomorrow into Monday
Then hopefully there wouldn't be work on Monday..

Now if this happened on Monday I could have gotten off a half day and then a full day on tuesday! Would have made for a nice week!

so much for doing grocery shopping today!!
we just got back from grocery shopping.. we were in Walbuams in East Meadows.. OH MY GOD what a mad house.. and that was just a half hour after it started to snow.
We were quick to get what we needed, but when Jim went out to get the car, he broke the key in the door keyhole, so we had to wait for my BIL to come with a spare key.
It kept snowing and MAN did Walbaums stay busy!
Milk was nearly out when I was there. Bread was running low. De-Icer for the windshield wipers were being snatched up De-Icer pellets were being grabbed quickly. Shovels were flying out the door.
(Question to ALL New Yorkers: where did the shovel from last year go, why do I always see folks buy lots and lots of shovels?)

if you go to your homepage and click on news and where it say 12 in orange click on that and you will see all the closing they have for tomorrow oh my god i neverseen a list sooo long. and the shocking thing is suny stonybrook is closed! and so is briarcliffe college in bethpage is closed.

i'm with ya jackie -- living in a co-op, we have a maintenance staff who clears the parking lot for the tenants. We have an assigned spot that we pay for, so by tomorrow night the whole lot will be clear for us to drive -- i just have to dust off the car tomorrow morning
